Hi Huneybees,

Nickelodeon’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are now taking over our movie screens by storm and if that's not enough and you wana come meet the turtles, you should come join me at the themed activities taking place at City Square Mall in Singapore and KidZania Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia!

Total Turtle Takeover at City Square Mall
The public is invited to check out a special 3D floor art of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles shown exclusively at the Level 1 Atrium of City Square Mall (directly connected to Farrer Park MRT Station) for the first time in Singapore from 21 August to 14 September. They stand a chance to win $50 worth of shopping vouchers when they snap a photo with the Turtles and share it on Instagram using the hashtag #TurtlesAtCitySqMall.

The lean, green and mean fighting heroes will then rise up out of the sewers and hit the stage in live shows at the Level 1 Atrium from 6 to 14 September. Visitors will be able to watch two brand new episodes from season 2 part 2 of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and browse the wide range of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Nickelodeon merchandise for sale from 8 to 14 September.

The aspiring thespians will be able to attend acting classes at the Acting Academy, wear the character outfits and then perform for an audience at the Theatre. And whilst waiting for these activities to begin, get into the  TMNT action and play as your favourite turtle to save the world in the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Movie Mobile Game. I love playing as the chillax katana weilding leader - Leonardo, what about you? Come unleash the TURTLE POWER!

Based on the new film in theatres 7 August (Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand), the mobile game allows players to take back the streets of New York City with the most shell-tastic team ever. You can play as Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello or Raphael, activate fierce Ninjutsu-style moves to keep the city safe. The game features exciting and intuitive combat controls, upgrades and weapons, a Turtle Power super attack and two unique modes of play: Story Mode, where the Turtles learn to be the warriors they become in the movie, and Survival Mode, in which players must stay alive against endless waves of enemies. Players will also be able to test their skills with in-game challenges and compete against their friends’ high scores.

The game was developed by The Game Bakers, creator of the acclaimed Combo Crew and Squids. The story was written by Tom Waltz, contributing author to the beloved Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comic series from IDW Publishing.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Official Mobile Game can be downloaded at www.teenagemutantninjaturtlesmovie.com/game and it is is now available globally for iOS, Android and Amazon devices.

Of course, not forgetting catching the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Nickelodeon with TV Specials of the Season 2 of the hit animated series seeing the continuation of the crime-fighting adventures of the four mutant turtles— Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello and Michelangelo.

Throughout the season, the Turtles’ mission is to recover the canisters before more mutants can be created. Meanwhile, the Kraang and Shredder have united to put an end to the Turtles once and for all, which results in some very scary characters coming after the brothers. With Casey Jones’ help, the Turtles take on some of the most bizarre and dangerous villains they have ever seen, all the while trying to unravel the mystery regarding April O'Neil and her importance to the Kraang.

TMNT is all about Japanese influence with all the talk about Ninjas and Ninjutsu and with that Nickelodeon has collaborated with Japanese bands GReeeeN and Ulfuls in produceing two theme songs for the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles animated series when it aired in April in Japan for the first time. Members of GReeeeN had the chance to perform as the Turtles in their music video for the song “Shinobi” while Ulfuls’ song “Booyakasha!” was named after the catchphrase used by the Turtles in the show. The music videos will premiere in Asia on the channel and online at turtles.nick.com from 22 August.
