I know I've been disappearing for days. Wedding preparations have drove me crazy and I had to rush to A & E early this week.

I'm counting down 9 more days to my wedding, so just bear 9 more days and I will be back with my blog ya?

Our Valentines' Day

| |
Hi Huneybees,

How was your Valentines' Day celebration? Who did you spend it with? I was of course with my significant other and we celebrated for 2 days. Tehehehe...

Yesterday, he brought me to our favourite Italian restaurant for our countdown to Valentines' Day dinner.
Sub of Bella Pizza, Bella Pasta.

 An excited customer.

 A happy customer.

For starters: We had Burratina (Buffalo Cheese , Arugula and Tomatoes).

After you cut open the cheese, a mix of milk and cheese burst out.

The wine bottles made us order a glass each... :p

Then our main course: Capellini Ai Fruitti De Mare.
Capellini  = Angel's Hair Pasta with seafood in seafood-tomato sauce.

See how much ingredients there was?

Our main course: Parma Ham Pizza topped with Arugula and slices of Mozarella Cheese.

 Yummy yummy!

Then we indulged in their wonderful dessert, Pannacotta!

 Strawberries all on top!

The sweet boss, Antonio, served us each a mini glass of Limoncello to aid in digestion.

Limoncello is an Italian lemon liqueur mainly produced in Southern Italy, mainly in the region around the Gulf of Naples, the Sorrentine Peninsula and the coast of Amalfi and islands of Procida, Ischia and Capri, but also in Sicily, Sardinia, Menton in France, and the Maltese island of Gozo. Traditionally, it is made from Sorrento lemon peel, though most lemons will produce satisfactory limoncello.

Limoncello is traditionally served chilled as an after-dinner digestivo. Along the Amalfi Coast, it is usually served in small ceramic glasses themselves often chilled, the Amalfi coast being a center of both ceramic and limoncello production. This tradition has been carried into other parts of Italy.
Limoncello is common in Italy but has recently become popular in other parts of the world. Restaurants in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, and New Zealand are increasingly offering limoncello on their beverage and dessert menus. It is an increasingly popular ingredient in cocktails, as it imparts a strong lemon flavor without the sourness or bitterness of lemon juice.

A pic for the night before we head home all red and dizzy.

An for the actual day today, we met up for lunch @ Hong Xing restaurant for my fav Dim Sums.

I headed home and dressed up for tonight's movie screening of "I am Number Four" (Review on the next blog entry).

 Ma! There's a huge RAT!!!

We passed by Marche to find this Cupid Cow.

 And Love Cow?

Then, we headed to Central for some simple dinner.
Curry Fishballs and Cow Stomach.

 Mine was the simple "车仔面".

And his was "Wan Ton Noodle".

Do comment let me know how was your V'Day ya? Night~

Hi Huneybees,
After Friday's drinking session, our friend, Veron invited us to join her and her friends at St James Power Station - The Boiler Room for 987fm's RSVP party. We've been down for 3 of their RSVP parties and that's how we made new friends like Veron.

987fm listeners should call in and win some tickets. It's so fun to party with the DJs, what's more, you get free booze from 8 pm - 10 pm!!!

 See what I told ya?

Our friend Veron just can't help drinking more...

Ok, so it's a Valentines' celebration, so cranky little me had hearts nail art all done the night before, hearts on me face and I stuck to using pink for makeup. Sweet eh?

Hearts on cheeks drawn with eyeshadow and eyeliner.

I got a pair of new blue contacts, coz silly old me got the previous one cracked.

I feel like a Barbie doll with new contacts and all pinky make-up.

1 more pic before we get off the car and start partying!

What's Valentines' when you don't have a love one to party with?

OK. Cranky again. I started drawing a heart on his hand and this is what happened in the end.

"Beary" much in love~

Red lanterns again? Deja Vu eh?

The gang that met at 987fm's RSVP parties.
Divian and Rozz did the opening for the party.

 Who wana bring Divian home?

Then, Soul Kool came on stage.

Singing "Just the way you are" with an amazing lady to dance with the singer.

This lady sounded so much like Rihanna!

Then the 'lady' came back on stage to perform and Enrique Iglesias number.

Then, they invited couples to go on stage for game session.

Yes! Yours truly and fiance was called up.

 Blind folded the guys.

And they were suppose to touch the ear, elbow and hand of the ladies to find their own girlfriends.

Everyone guessed correctly and Soul Kool did another number.

Next up is everyone's fav duo, The Muttons!

They invited singles up for a game and hopefully pair them off. *winkz*

Then they invited 3 guys up to do some hip action.

 Last song for the night.

A group picture. I definitely need a new cam man!

A pic with Veron and her Korean friends before leaving.

So guys, keep listening in to 987fm and hope to see ya guys there at their next RSVP party!
