Beer Market

Hey Huneybees!

I'm back on Huney'Z World. New terms for my readers and  followers. You know like how people living in Singapore are called Singaporeans, students of NYP are called NYP-ians? Well, I have one too. Everyone is Huney'Z World are called Huneybees! So now you know eh?

So, back to the topic. I was at the "Beer Market" on Clarke Quay the other day with my sis and fiance. It was my first time there and it was a pretty interesting place to hang out after hard day's work. So why call it "Beer Market"?

 The entrance.

 The logo and slogan.

At first, I thought it's like a place where you get a variety of beers like a market, where you get to choose which type and from which country's beer you wana get, but well, I was only right half. You do get a selection of beers, but prices are like stock market, they rise and fall every 30 mins.

The deco in bar. Non real time. Just a pic.

Our drinks for the night.

What I mean is 30 mins before, your glass of beer could cost you $4.00, but 30 mins later, it could cost only $3.50, then another 30 mins later, it could cost you $4.20. Fun right? Not only you get a place to chill out with friends, you get to be busy to catch the glass of beer you wanted at the cheapest rate!

 The price 30 mins before.

 The price 30 mins later.

Moreover, you get to listen to the live band perform and on Wednesdays, you get the popular Jack and Rai performing!!!!

They have programmes almost every night.

 Jack & Rai (EIC Singapore).

Wonderful performance.

I'm definitely going down for beers again, what about you? Let's go together? :p

[Tried & Tested] Kanebo's Freshel Moist Lift (BB Cream)

Hi guys,

I have recently received a tube of Kanebo's Freshel Moist Lift BB Cream, all thanks to Nuffnang!
So, here's the product:

A little details on the back.

As you can see, there's Collagen, Hyaluronic Acid, Silk Essence and Yeast Extract to soften and moisturise the skin, while working as sunscreen & tinted makeup base!
Upon opening the box, you will find this brown and gold luxurious looking tube, that reminds me of yummy chocs! And although it says 'Fragrance Free' on the back, there's is still a slight flowery smell, which kinda feels good when you apply.

The natural skin coloured cream matches my skin colour to the max and it glides on to skin easily and I can have even skin colour in minutes. And also the cream, covers my dullness and red spots pretty well. I didn't have to put on concealer to cover up after using the BB cream.

Here's how I look without makeup. (Be warned: Don't freak out)

Fainted yet?

After applying the cream, you can already see, much lighter skin colour around my eyes.

Here's how I look after applying face powder on top of the cream and finishing the look with simple eyeshadow shading and eyeliner.

See how amazing I look after using the BB Cream?
My skin seems to glow from within and my skin is flawless!

I have been using the BB Cream for a couple of weeks now and my skin feels smoother and firmer than ever (you know, the 'du-ing, du-ing' feeling). It's amazing how 4 small dots of cream on my face can work wonders!

My rating for the BB Cream:

4.5 / 5 Hearties

The product is going for $33.00 at all Kanebo counters in stores now! You should also check out the Freshel range while you're at there.

So hurry grab yours soon!

New Year = New You?

Hi Huneybees,

Welcome to 2011! This year always seemed so far fetched when I was younger and futuristic movies at that time tend to refer 2011 as the "Jetsons" period. But well, everything still seems normal, no cars flying yet...

So, for the New Year, what have you listed down in your New Year Resolution to-do list? I guess everyone's pretty standard like mine, more money, more

money and more more money eh?

I have another one though; (which I hope everyone do too) leading a healthier lifestyle!
Everytime I hear the news report saying the rate of people suffering from heart attacks, high cholesterol and diabetes are getting higher and higher. And also, vain me wana lose some weight to look good for my BIG wedding day!

So here's what a balanced diet is all about:

There's also a new habit that I've picked up in between meals, instead of snacking, I turn to eating cherry tomatoes and cucumbers, they help in stopping the hunger and it's definitely healthy pinching. They helped me pass motion much much easier.

Another thing that I'm planning to try out are the Acai Berries.

Research on the Acai berry has focused on its possible antioxidant activity. Theoretically, that activity may help prevent diseases caused by oxidative stress such as heart disease and cancer.

But as to where to get them and how to eat them, I'm still doing my research. Anyone care to share me with?

So, cheers to the new year. Cheers to a healthier new you and me!
