Also, if you're already doing your Christmas shopping for that special loved ones, Starbucks have also a selection of merchandises for you to pick from...

Starbucks also welcomes the return of Christmas Blend, the most beloved coffee enjoyed in more than 60 countries around the world. Since 1984, Starbucks has created its special Christmas Blend coffee every year, showcasing its artistry in roasting and blending. For the 2016 blend, Starbucks ages the rare Sumatra beans for up to five years, and as the coffee rests, it develops a cedary, deep and earthy flavor. These beans are then combined with robust coffee beans from Asia-Pacific and vibrant coffee beans from Latin America resulting in a full-bodied coffee that pairs well with a variety of Christmas foods, from savory meals to sweet desserts.

This year’s Starbucks® Christmas Blend stands apart with pronounced flavors and deep, intriguing layers of spiciness and sweetness. Customers are invited to choose their favorite Starbucks Christmas Blend from a range of formats to suit their tastes and preferences. Coffee connoisseurs can enjoy whole bean offerings, or share the joy of Christmas with Starbucks® Christmas Blend Origami™, a delightful and convenient single-use filter for the perfect portioned cup of coffee on-the-go. Another thoughtful gift for busy coffee lovers is Starbucks VIA® Ready Brew Christmas Blend, an instant Starbucks kick to create Christmas in a cup – wherever, whenever.

Customers in Singapore can also explore the deeper, darker Starbucks® Christmas Blend Espresso Roast – an added option alongside Starbucks signature Espresso Roast in handcrafted espresso beverages this season. For customers who enjoy lighter roasted coffee, there is Starbucks® Christmas Blend Blonde Roast, which has a more subtle flavor profile.

Enhance Your Gaming Experience With The New VR-Ready Alienware 17 And 15 Notebooks!

| |
Hi Huneybees,

Celebrating its 20th Anniversary as a leading pioneer in high performing PC gaming systems, Alienware introduces its entire new line of VR-ready notebooks in Singapore - Alienware 17 and Alienware 15 - that boast the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 10 series family GPUs; desktop-class graphics performance comes to notebooks for enhanced capabailities and realistic gameplay.

Thermal management is another great improvement for the new line of Alienware notebooks.

With the inventive integration of new materials such as anodized aluminum, magnesium alloy, steel and copper together with the new hinge-forward  design helps not only to improve the cooling capabilities across both CPU and GPU but also increase the performance of the notebooks.

Also, by enabling the use of the entire thermal margin - how far the current operating temperature is below the maximum operating temperature - of the speaker in the new speaker design in the new Alienware notebooks, the gamers will also witness an improved audio output.

Another first for Alienware, is the partnership with Tobii to create the world’s first notebook to capitalize on eye tracking’s unique ability to identify and anticipate a user’s actions based on his/her presence and attention.

Exclusive to Alienware 17, the flagship notebook that is powered by an overclocked Intel Core i7 k-series processors and DDR4 memory running up to 2667 MHz,  the newly added support for optional IR Tobii eye-tracking technology adds great accessibility features based on where the user is looking and with fine tuning, this cool technology would be able to sense the user's presence and attention to understand when the user is engaged with various elements of the device or lock the system when the user walks away.
Through the eye tracking hardware and software from Tobii, the user could now record and export his/her gaze pattern as a coaching tool to help improve gameplay on top of optimizing power, performance and can improve security.

Alienware 17 is retailed at SGD3,999 while Alienware 15 is retailed at SGD2,399 and both are available at the end of October (now!) on Dell.com.sg and mid-November in the good IT stores near you!

It's game time!

"A Fist Within Four Walls (城寨英雄)" Wins Big At The StarHub TVB Awards 2016

| |
Hi Huneybees,

I'm definitely still on Cloud 9  after last night at the StarHub TVB Awards 2016. I got to take pics with and interview some of the TVB stars that I've been following for years! OK! Enough about me, here's the lowdown...

Check out those platforms on Ruco, he even consulted Nancy on how to wear them!

"A Fist Within Four Walls (城寨英雄)" won big last night with the highlight shining on Ruco Chan (陈展鹏) and Nancy Wu (胡定欣), the protagonists of the martial arts drama; clinching My Favourite TVB Actor and Actress Awards respectively.

Nancy choked back tears of joy as she delivered her thank-you-speech for winning the award the very first time in Singapore and she was thankful for the film crew and Ruco for being an excellent acting partner.  She and Ruco also won My Favourite Onscreen Couple awards alongside their "partners-in-crime" Benjamin Yuen and Grace Wong for their electrifying onscreen chemistry.

In love with Grace's dress...

Nancy and Ruco revealed that you will be able to see more of their "romantic" escapades in the next upcoming drama "Alliance" (同盟). It will be by the same "A Fist Within Four Walls" crew, but sadly Benjamin and Grace was not able to join in the filming.

During the group interview, Nancy's co-actor in "Short End of the Stick (公公出宮)" - Wayne Lai (黎耀祥) was shocked that he received My Favourite TVB Actor award next to Ruco. He teased that his Singapore fans likes him acting as eunuch and that he might need to learn tips from Ruco on how to snag that award thrice in a row.

Raymond Cho who was also cast as a eunuch in the same drama, snagged the My Favourite TVB Supporting Actor for his convincing portrayal as the feminine Sai Gai. Nailing the part of Sai Gai’s cross-dressing wife to perfection, Rosina Lam also bagged the well-deserved My Favourite TVB Supporting Actress award.

Raymond was very happy that his efforts were appreciated and showed us his LED light up suit. He called it his lucky suit and that he will wear it every year, with different lights every year.

Ali Lee (李佳芯) and Mat Yeung (杨明) snagged the TVB Most Improved Artiste awards; while the Best New TVB Artiste awards went to Moon Lau (刘佩玥) and Matthew Ho (何广沛). Moon showcased her acting prowess as the rebellious and mischievous daughter of the triad leader in "A Fist Within Four Walls".

Although Matthew was cast in supporting roles in "Blue Veins (殭)" and "Brother’s Keeper II (巨轮 II)"his credible acting and boyish good looks left a lasting impression on viewers, propelling him into the spotlight as the next upcoming actor.

My favourite actress - Mandy Wong (黃智雯) also snagged the My Favourite TVB Female TV Character for her lawyer role in "Law dis-Order (律政强人)". She plays all her characters so well and it's definitely time for her to shine. Actually, I was too mesmerised by her to even ask her any questions. >.<|||

Of course there's much much more to watch on the StarHub TVB Awards 2016 as each actor and actress go on stage to receive their awards. Be sure to set an alarm and stay peeled to the TV ~~~

Adorable Bobby Au-Yeung (欧阳震华) and Gigi Wong (黃淑儀) not forgetting to add humour into their interviews, to show off their veteran experiences in front of reporters.

Vincent Wong (王浩信showing us his wife's congratulatory pic before rushing off for his flight.

A telecast of the StarHub TVB Awards 2016 will be aired on 29 October via TVB First (StarHub TV Channel 860) in its original Cantonese language. The production will also be made available in Mandarin on VV Drama (StarHub TV Channel 855) on 5 November and E City (StarHub TV Channel 111/825) on 12 November.

The show, which was hosted by Hong Kong star Carol Cheng and hip hop duo FAMA, saw performances by Singapore's Sing! China finalist Nathan Hartono, Andy Hui and Kit Chan. For more information, please visit www.starhubtvbawards.com and for the list of winning awards, go to http://huneyzworld.blogspot.sg/2016/10/im-seeing-stars-after-attending-starhub.html.

The StarHub TVB Awards 2016 is proudly presented by BottomSlim and Tokyo Bust Express. The event is co-sponsored by Toyogo, LG G5, Cielo Cream, Chan Brothers Travel and Mitsubishi Electric. Supporting Partners include Kentucky Fried Chicken and West Mall. Infiniti is the Official Automotive, while Marina Bay Sands returns as the Official Venue sponsor once again.
