Say Hi To LG Optimus G Pro

Hi Huneybees,

How about a brand new smartphone with a 5.5-inch display this July? LG has just launched their Optimus G Pro with 5.5 inch FULL HD IPS display that has double the resolution  of 1920 x 1080 pixels at 400ppi.

The LG Optimus G Pro comes in Indigo Black and Lunar White, running on the latest Android version Jelly Bean 4.1.2, and comes with 2GB Ram, and 16GB internal memory and a 64GB microSD card spaceThe 17Ghz Qualcomm Snapdragon quad-core processor enhances its processing power supporting data transfers and resource intensive apps.

Measuring 150.2mm x 76.1mm x 9.4mm, the phone is definitely a smaller device to hold compared to my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and I did a short video review when I was at the launch event...

See how fun the translation works!

One fun thing that I liked about the phone has to be the Rainbow LED light that can help you customize your phone, so that you know who is calling!

Oh! And the phone with a 13 MP rear end camera with LED flash and 2.1 MP front camera for video calling (Hello more selfie shots!). It also supports full HDR dual-video recording at 1080p@30fps as well as geo-tagging, face detection, image stabilization, panorama, HDR modes and my favourite beauty shots mode.
The default apps.
Some other functions also include the:

Smart Video - With advance eye recognition technology, smart video recognizes the position of the viewer’s eyes and automatically plays or stops the video when you look away and it resumes once you return your vision to the screen.

Quick Remote - Using the embedded infrared (IR) technology to operate things like your TV, audio systems, home entertainment from a variety of brands. It’s the world’s first smartphone equipped with an all-in-one remote supporting up to 9 devices.

Vu:Talk - An amazing function where you can share information through the note app. You can draw, share photos, even map locations with your friends simultaneously. The presenters even played tic-tac-toe right in front of us!

Automatic focusing on the subject - This works when in video mode, so that when at the most important moment, your focus subject who is moving, won't go blur and you miss it in the video.

WDR Recording - Don't you just hate that too much sunlight moment where either you get clear view of what's on the other side of the window or when you use flash, everything just seems overexposed? So, with WDR (Wide Dynamic Range), you can have the best of both worlds...

Available Early July in Singapore at $868, the LG Optimus G Pro with 3140 mAh battery life and the bundled ear piece that's featuring quadbeats, it's definitely a smartphone to consider.
