Hi Huneybees,

Back in March, I posted a few blog posts about joining the recording of the LOL talk show on Toggle and now, they are back for Season 2!
LOL is a new interesting and awesome ladies talk show is currently in town. Yes,  it's short for  "Laugh Out Loud" and that's what the show promises. One awesome hilarious talk show that  is guaranteed to make you laugh throughout the show.

With the new season, comes a new host. For this round, it is Denise Tan, Radio DJ of Gold 90.5FM and with her is her BFF, Marcus A C., who will be sharing more tips on set with the new beauty sponsor, BENEFIT Cosmetics.

Before we head into the studio for the recording, we were treated to a counter of Benefit products to try and tempt us to buy...

The other new sponsor on board would also be Bottega Champagne. They have these delightful gold bottles that are in everyone's goodie bag!

Before the recording, we had a little teaser moment where 2 ladies were caught by the Benefit Spy Girls and Marcus. What for? Read on...

After a short refreshment from Dr Cafe, it was time for the recording!

The set was homely and furniture sponsored by Francfranc.

The other corner is Marcus's playground. It was the Benefit Beauty Corner and we will see it again in a bit. Now, let me introduce who's on the hot seat that night, that was "grilled" by Denise for quite a bit of juicy news...

The cast from upcoming TV Drama on Channel 5 - Mata Mata was in the studio! Cheryl Wee, Daren Tan and Adam Chen were in the studio to talk about their experiences while filming the drama as well as to pour out some juicy news about each other.

The drama will be aired straight after the NDP program on 9th August to celebrate the TV 50 years celebration. It  is one of the key programmes rolled out and will be spreading across a period of 3 years. MediaCorp will be producing a total of 3 series (1 each year) that will be featuring different periods of Singapore.

The drama series is inspired by real life events, set in post-war Singapore, 1950s-60s, as seen through the eyes of three fictitious women police officers from the first Women Constabulary in Singapore.  (Loosely-based on the life of Mary Quintal nee Voon, who became the first female Assistant Superintendent in 1961). Most of the filming was done in Batam where they had a "village" setup. It was nice to see them chat and "play" on LOL ad if you wana know what are the juicy news, you have to watch this episode!

The guys even had a stand off to show us what the thugs "fight" looked like. Which in the end, ended up with a flying kiss. Wahahahahaa!

And like last season, every interview ends up with a little Q & A to see which of them is the winner and knows Singapore's law the best. Guess who won...

Cheryl Wee was the winner for answering the most answers!Guess the guys were just being gentlemen or where they? Hehehehe...

Next up, was the segment by Marcus, where he showed us the magic of Benefit's POREfessional. He was joined by Sok Kheng from Benefit and they both shared tips on the 2 ladies (who were "caught" prior to the recording) how POREfessional can help them fight off shine from the face as well as reducing pores.

I have been using POREfessional for sometime already and it is always must have step prior to my makeup. Simply love how it makes my skin look super flawless!

Lastly, was the music segment, and we had the pleasure to hear The Sam Willows perform LIVE! They are simply such a joyful bunch of musicians. The performed Glass House and Crimson, all I can say is you got to hear them LIVE man.

Ben and Narelle Kheng
THE SAM WILLOWS is made up of siblings Ben and Narelle Kheng and friends Sandra Riley Tang and Jon Chua, burst onto the Singapore music scene in May 2012 with their luscious harmonies and special brand of country-folk and created a solid buzz across the island-state. Since then, they’ve amassed more than 170,000 views on their YouTube page, which they keep stocked with the freshest originals and re-imagined covers.

I am super happy! After the whole recording, I got to take a few pics with The Sam Willows and actually there's something we noticed....

Don't you think Sandra looks a little like Oon Shu An?!
