Samsung announced that well-loved talented Singaporean singer-songwriter, Olivia Ong, and MediaCorp artiste, Desmond Tan, will be its celebrity ambassadors for the much-anticipated GALAXY Note II LTE and GALAXY Camera respectively. Both ambassadors will be using their Samsung devices to aid their creative process for upcoming projects, such as “The Wonderland” project and a new MediaCorp drama.

On the night of the announcement, creative and theatre director Beatrice Chia-Richmond was also present alongside Olivia Ong and Desmond Tan.

Mr Harry Lee, the Managing Director did an opening introduction and the presentation for The GALAXY Note II LTE was presented to us. There was an in depth explanation and demonstration for us to understand more about the mobile phone.

S Pen has been dramatically enhanced from the original GALAXY Note. The Air View feature allows users one-depth preview of the content including photo gallery, email, web browsing, and more.

Preview you email, photos and videos to save you time searching.

Now users can preview their emails, schedules, photos and videos before having to go into the files that they want. Simply hover over the messages and you can get a preview. For video, hovering over the timeline will also let you preview the portion of the video you would like to see.

Furthermore, S Note offers Formula Match / Shape Match , which enable more organized idea capturing and expression. Annotation, cropping, and cut & paste are all very natural and intuitive on S Note, and enhance the user’s efficiency and creativity in his/her daily life.

Photo Note

Instant and Seamless Sharing

GALAXY Note II LTE also includes AllShare Cast, AllShare Play and S Beam, all of which help users share their thoughts with multiple (and different) devices seamlessly and easily.

TecTiles

Samsung GALAXY Note II LTE comes with NFC (Near Field Communication), the fast growing short-range communication technology that enables a variety of features and services ranging from contactless payments and data exchange to user-customized "smart tags". With Samsung's groundbreaking NFC-powered solution called TecTiles, which consists of a dedicated mobile application and programmable NFC tag, users can activate settings and tasks on their phones with just a single tap. For example, users can use TecTiles to change phone settings, launch applications or send social network updates in the car, office or at home.

Olivia Ong was there introduced on stage to talk about her experience with the Samsung GALAXY Note II LTE. She liked that she could scribble the quotes on to the pictures of her "idols". She will be having a concert in March.

She also announced that she will participate in “The Wonderland” project – a creative journey she will embark on to compose an original song “Wonderland” and make it into a music video as she captures her inspirations and thoughts with the GALAXY Note II LTE. Fans will get to join Olivia in her creativity process by interacting and sharing ideas with her, and also catch behind-the-scenes videos of her creative journey to create this original song.

Introducing Mr Oh Deock Jin, the Creative Director of Diamond Walker. He did a drawing and took notes of Desmond Tan's feet sizes and on the spot, Desmond had a pair of sleek looking boots in the order. You might see him wearing them at his next event?

The GALAXY Camera comes in 3G in Singapore. It will be available from November 2012 at all leading consu,er electronics stores.

The Samsung ATIV Smart PC Pro was also introduced. Compatible with the S Pen, this light weight laptop can also be detached from its keyboard and be a tablet for you to bring it out!

Afterwhich, was a performance by Oilvia Ong. Her sweet voice captivated everyone's attention....

We then all proceeded to a pavilion in the hotel's garden to experience and try out the gadgets, as well as to understand how to be creative with Samsung.
