How's your week my darlings? Mine started with a fun morning of "horsing" around with the stars of Cavalia. Horsing around has never been so cool until the 50 horses of Cavalia arrived in Singapore...
The horses and their riders were all amped up for the meet and greet and I got super upclose to some of the horses. Everyone was going round taking pictures with them and I found myself a selfie buddy too! Meet E-Vogue!
Ain't he a beauty?! He was so cheeky, kept nudging me and once I had the camera held up, he would be turning towards my direction. They named him right eh? I bet he will make a great front cover model!
E-Vogue is just one of the 50 majestic horses starring in this multimedia and acrobatic spectacular performance - Cavalia: A Magical Encounter Between Human and Horse. It is scheduled to open on 12 August 2014 in Singapore under the White Theatre Tent next to Marina Bay Sands and these horses have made the 11,000km journey from Belgium, on board a roomy 747 Aircraft!

The star horses consists of 11 breeds including Arabian, Spanish Purebred, Percheron, Lusitano, Warmblood, Quarter Horse, Comtois, Australian Stock Horse, Criollo, Miniature Horse, and Paint Horse.
Conceived by Normand Latourelle, one of the co-founders of famed Cirque du Soleil, Cavalia combines equestrianperforming arts, multimedia and special effects with acrobatics, dance, aerial stunts and live music. All of these coming together for a show fit for families and friends, young and old alike.
Be sure to look out for the one and only adorable pony - Troubadour. He totally stole the show that day and "Awwww-s" were inevitable. He totally reminded me of why I always wanted a horse of my own. :)
At the session that day, we also got to see the close relationship between each horse and their rider. It was so beautiful that without speaking the same language, their love for each other is so deep and the way they understand each other is such a lovely view. It is this beautiful connection that makes every show unique, as the horses are free to express themselves freely~
The horses are housed in a 1,500 square-metre stable and each horse has its own designated box with ample space to stretch, lie down, sprawl out, roll and relax. Each of them ALWAYS have the same neighbours no matter where they travel to perform.This is to ensure that the horses are settled down as comfortably as possible in the shortest span of time.
They get the star treatment every day with showers, grooming, massages and exercises with their riders as well as outings to the paddocks. They get much more attention than any celebrities with that much pampering!
