Even better, from 2 to 15 June, you’ll get to watch three legendary Penang hawkers live in action, right at the buffet stations! It was a rare treat to see these masters at work:

• Chef Toon Chin Hye of Ah Soon Fried Oyster - trust us, his fried oyster omelette is the real deal, crispy, savoury and packed with wok hei!

• Chef Tan Pow Lai from Tan Kee Poh Piah - his handmade popiah skins are a work of art, and watching him roll each one is like witnessing edible origami.

• Chef Chew Soon Hock of Swatow Lane Ice Kacang - who has been celebrated for decades for his handcrafted Nyonya desserts and traditional kueh. For those with a sweet tooth, his traditional Penang Cendol and Durian Pengat Ice Kacang are the ultimate way to end your night on a high. 

For us, date nights are all about sharing - not just the laughter, but the flavours too. So why not turn your evening into a little culinary adventure?

Start with a bold bite of Sambal Petai wrapped in fresh lettuce that's spicy, punchy, and perfect for the brave-hearted duo. Then cosy up with comforting bowls of Penang Assam Laksa or Prawn Mee, slurping side by side as the tangy, umami-rich broths warm your soul. And don’t even think about leaving without trying Chef Andy’s Signature 'Wok Hey' Penang Char Kuey Teow which is smoky, rich, and absolutely unforgettable.
