AXN Redefines Action With All New Branding

Hi Huneybees,

Being in the creative line, my eyes are constantly on the lookout for new and interesting concepts. Design is such a funny thing, it can be minimal 2D with just a stroke and few colours, but is also can be multi faceted - 3D, 4D, wondering when if 5D happening...

But before that happens, AXN is up for a change. A brand new look, with a new line up of programs to keep you stuck on that couch. The new AXN logo embodies Mystery, Intrigue and Intensity with their newly created typeface accompanied by the 3 dimensional red pyramid.

Evoking energy, action, passion and danger, the network will be launching their new "Redefining Action" campaign, pushing out a stellar line up of new and returning series to get their fans excited for the Fall TV season.

One to look out for is the highly anticipated drama - Quantico, that stars Bollywood icon Priyanka Chopra. It premieres on 28 September 2015, within 12 hours of the US telecast!

For those who like a little more medical emergencies with intense action drama, Code Black is not to be missed. There's no time for sexiness, except that you will be immersed in ER chaos alongside the medical team, going through a surge of emotions up and down.

Code Black is a heart-pounding medical drama that takes place in the busiest, most notorious ER in the nation, where the staggering influx of patients can outweigh the limited resources available to the extraordinary doctors and nurses whose job is to treat them all – creating a condition known as Code Black. At the heart of the ER’s controlled chaos is Residency Director Dr. Leanne Rorish, renowned for successfully performing high-risk procedures in Center Stage, the trauma area reserved for the most critical cases. Her four new first-year residents are Christa Lorenson, Malaya Pineda, Mario Savetti and Angus Leighton. Leanne’s confidante, Jesse Sallander, is an amiable seen-it-all senior nurse who manages the residents. Also working in the ER is Dr. Neal Hudson, an excellent physician who sometimes disagrees with Leanne’s “cowboy” approach, and Dr. Rollie Guthrie, the energetic, longest-serving attending. In Center Stage, life is measured in seconds, and these heroic doctors and nurses operate with speed and skill within an overwhelmed system, to treat the crowds of people who are often there for one of two reasons: to die or to receive a life-saving miracle.

Well, and of course, not forgetting our favourites like The Blacklist Season 3 and TV sensation - The Voice Season 9, where Pharrell Williams, Gwen Stefanie, Blake Shelton and (*fanning the heat away*) Adam Levine will be coaching their team of singing wannabes.
