We Are In Love With Domino's Pizza New Japanese Inspired Sugoi Menu

| |
Hi Huneybees,

It's such a wonder how many variations there can be done to a flat round dough. Yes, I'm talking about pizzas! No matter what your favourite toppings are, after this post, I bet all you can drool about is the latest Japanese inspired Domino's Pizza's menu.

Starting this November, Domino's Pizza introduces their new Sugoi Menu that comprises of 5 new menu items, 3 sides and 2 new pizzas flavour. All prepared with the Japanese fine attention to details and their well-loved Kushiyaki style of Japanese cooking, the sweet, savoury and smokey is just such a dance on the taste buds.

Sugoi Unagi Pizza with Cheesy Sesame Crust at $35.90 (regular)

Have you dreamt of having a Pizza with Unagi as a topping? It may seem like a crazy idea but I guarantee this special fusion of East Meets West will make you digging in for seconds and thirds...

Domino's new Sugoi Unagi Pizza has roasted honey glazed eel slices slapped atop a bed of mushrooms, sprinkled with nori slices and paired with the specially made Sugoi sauce on the new Cheesy Sesame Crust. A mix of savoury with the sweet sauce brings out the fragrance of the parmesan cheese, black and white sesame seeds of the crust. I simply can't stop!

Sugoi Chicken Pizza with Cheesy Sesame Crust at $33.90 (regular)

Another new pizza on the menu is the Sugoi Chicken Pizza. It's a twist on the usual chicken pizza as the meat is prepared grilled Tori Yaki style and when paired with mushroom, pineapple slices, sweet cherry tomatoes, onions, nori strips, cheese and the special Sugoi sauce, the whole pizza flavour is elevated and one bite is as though a trip to Japan. This pizza is less sweet than the unagi one, so for fans who prefer something light, this might be a better choice.

Cheesy Crunchy Goma at $6.90 or $4.90 when paired with meal

Both the Sugoi Unagi Pizza and Sugoi Chicken Pizza goes well with the new Cheesy Sesame Crust. It can be a top-up to the other flavours at $6 for regular pizza and $8 for large pizza, but it also taste great as a bite on its own.

Which is why Domino's Pizza added the Cheesy Crunchy Goma flatbread to the menu too! It can be a nice snack to munch on or even be a dessert option. This crunchy bite has parmesan cheese, black and white sesame seeds sprinkled on the crust with a glaze of honey on top. It's not very sweet and I think it goes well with ice cream too!

Yakitori Chicken at $12.90 or $10.90 with any order
How can you miss yakitori when doing a Japanese menu? Domino's Pizza has created their own version of Yakitori Chicken, served on skewers. The sticky sweet and mildly spicy butterflied chicken wings are baked to perfection, keeping its own juiciness within the meat, bursting as I bit into the tender meat. Oh my god, my tummy is rumbling for it again ~~~

Toriniku Wings at $10.90 or $7.90 paired with any purchase.

Another chicken delight is the Toriniku Wings. It's not spicy and suits the kids with its sweet combination of wings and drummets baked with roasted garlic and generously glazed with honey rock sugar. I bet everyone will be licking on their fingers for more!

That's all for the new Domino'a Pizza Sugoi menu, but don't forget to end your meal with the Churros Choc Dip Duo. A warm crunchy bite dipped into the dark warm chocolate syrup within the Chocolate Lava Cake makes such a sweet way to end a perfect pizza feast!

To enjoy and soak into the Japanese feel, why not enjoy your pizza meals at their new Stanley Street branch. It is decorated as shown above for you to enjoy your "Japanese" feast, check it out if you are in the vicinity. "Irasshaimase!" (いらっしゃいませ!)
