That period of feeling bored in front of TV will soon be gone as Comedy Central Asia will be launching entertaining variety show Lip Sync Battle in the month of July.
Lip Sync Battle is a social media sensation programme that is based on the pop culture phenomenon of lip sync battling. This Viacom
original series, which originated on Viacom’s Spike TV in the U.S.,
features celebrities going head to head – lip-syncing the song of their
choice – battling for the coolest bragging rights on the planet. It's like my Dubsmash moment going on TV! :X
It's gona be sensational match up battles and I think some of the interesting, not-to-be-missed ones have to be the Jimmy Fallon vs. Dwayne Johnson, Anna Kendrick vs. John Krasinski, and Anne Hathaway vs. Emily Blunt battles! Lip Sync Battle is premiering in Asia on Comedy Central on weekdays starting Tuesday, 28 July at 7.30pm (TH/WIB), 8.30pm (HK/PH/SG/TW) and 9.30pm (MY).

Meantime, back for the second season is the online singing competition Project Aloft Star.
This music talent discovery competition, by MTV Asia, reaches out to singer-songwriters from Singapore and Asia to submit their original music video compositions and the winner gets US$10,000 and a chance to be featured on MTV.

Fans in each cluster who cast their votes will stand a chance to win cash prize or prizes worth up to US$1,000. Last year’s winning fans walked away with an all-expense paid trip to Seoul, South Korea, including two nights at the newly opened Aloft Seoul Gangnam.
