Flowers always brighten my day and their fragrance are so refreshing with their bright colours. That's why I've always been a fan of perfumes. Nothing can beat a great day smelling good and to me, I find that it is a kind of respect to others as well. You wouldn't want someone to come smelling as though he/she have just left the gym right?
Other than the fragrance, the bottle design also plays a part when I purchase a perfume. They are normally on my dressing table for at least a month, so of course, a nicer bottle becomes part of the decoration. :)

This fragrance is a fresh new introduction as Winter enters into Spring, with bright floral colours entering into the city, blossoming on the city walls, pavements and saturate the air with their warmth and fragrance.
I fell deeply in love with the soft floral scents amongst the musky base notes of Virginia White Cedarwood, Ambrox and White Musk. It's as though I was walking on the bustling city streets, as the people move around going about their daily life, with whiffs of dewy floral buds ready to blossom in the sun. Perfumer Alberto Morillas is behind this creation and he has 'bottled' Mademoiselle Maurice's design of figurative and abstract flowers right in this city-scaped perfume bottle.
Perfumer Alberto Morillas focused his creation into a divine spring breeze: the bright and cheerful opening like the signs of changing seasons, Pink Peppercorn and a sprinkling of Citrus Notes, not forgetting a hint of Calone, a nod to the Legendary L'Eau d'Issey: the first quiverings of a bud that will soon be blossoming. In dewy surroundings, the freshness is accentuated with middle notes that resonate beneath delicately honey-like Osmanthus Flowers, an invitation to travel - to the other side of the city - offered by Freesia and Magnolia: reserved and measured, the flower chose to retain its mystery by only opening halfway. Then with the bottom notes made up of natural Virginia White Cedar dominated by powerful notes of Ambrox and White Musk, this imaginary bouquet takes shape and draws its energy, "texturising" itself like the petals of a flower which finally touch the skin... the flower opens out completely, serenely, in a subtle mingling of charm and boldness.Ain't the description such a beautiful piece? I knew I had to share that with you guys. Nothing beats a nice story built up to give birth to such a lovely fragrance. This light, floral perfume, subtlety brings Spring into my daily life, making it a breeze as I go about my chores.
The Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey City Blossom Eau de Toilette will be exclusively launched from 30th January 2015 to 5th February 2015 at Metro Paragon. It will then subsequently be launched at these dates and locations:
- Robinsons Heeren - 6th February 2015 to 13th February 2015
- Metro Woodlands - 27th February 2015 to 8th March 2015
- Takashimaya - 12th March 2015 to 18th March 2015
