Hi Huneybees,

Chinese New Year is drawing near and it's time to celebrate with friends and families with a toast! What better way to do it than with our Singapore's highly acclaimed Tiger Beer?

Victo Ngai

Usher in the Year of the Horse by bringing to life “新春展鸿图”, symbolising “To Fresh Beginnings”. Tiger Beer commissioned award-winning illustrator, Victo Ngai, who was recently recognised by Forbes as one of the 30 under 30: The Best of Art and Style personalities for 2014, to produce two artworks for the festive season - featuring the iconic Tiger Beer pint bottle and can, each artwork includes different ethnicity and fashion styles, as well as eight hidden horses.

Other than that, there's also the #TigerTwist, a collaboration between Tiger Beer and DJ Virman from Far East Movement.

To put an entertaining twist on the traditions of Chinese New Year, Tiger Beer has collaborated with DJ Virman from internationally acclaimed hip hop group Far East Movement, known for their hits ‘Like A G6’ and ‘Live My Life’. Together with his brother, DJ E-Man, the duo is set to create the world’s first Chinese New Year dance anthem entitled #TigerTwist.

From 7 to 31 January, fans can upload their dance moves to social networks with the hashtag #TigerTwist. The best video submissions will be shortlisted by DJ Virman and DJ E-Man and compiled into a full music video which will be launched on the first day of Chinese New Year, 31 January 2014.

Look out for it on Tiger Beer’s Facebook and YouTube channel (http://www.youtube.com/user/tigerbeer). The #TigerTwist track is also available as a free download via SoundCloud (http://bit.ly/tigertwistmp3).

“Chinese New Year marks a fresh and positive start for Tiger Beer and for Singaporeans alike – and we want to usher in new beginnings through a series of celebrations that pack a modern twist. By collaborating with the best talents across music, arts and culture, Tiger Beer is able to extend the festive spirit beyond the traditional sphere to further build a connection with young adults and fans of the brand." --- Mr Rene de Monchy, Head of Marketing, Asia Pacific Breweries Singapore.
