The National Geographic Channel Free Pet Shop, Singapore’s largest dog-adoption drive is back, with more dogs! This year, NGC Free Pet Shop brings together five dog shelters Action for Singapore Dogs (ASD), Animal Lovers League (ALL), Noah’s Ark, Gentle Paws and Save Our Street Dogs. Featuring more than 100 dogs that will be up for adoption, the event will aims to advocate dog adoption and foster greater man-canine relationship offer fringe activities and workshops that will shed new light on dog ownership.


In addition to the flurry of activities, NGC Free Pet Shop also celebrates the joy in owning Singapore Specials through the Singapore Special Dog Show where it challenges the misconceptions that Singapore Specials are not on par with pure bred dogs.  The Dog Show will feature owners with their local mixed breed dogs sharing stories and the talents of these dogs and many attractive prizes are waiting to be won - with the champion being given 6-months’ supply of Purina ONE Dog Food from Purina, Cesar Millan’s Grooming Set worth $70 and a goodie bag worth $40 from B2K Pet Products, a Doggie EssenSpa Voucher worth $50 from Doggie Style Café, a 7-inch Cake Voucher worth $25 from The Barkery Singapore, and a 40-minute massage session for dogs worth $35 from Pawsitive Sensations.
All participants will receive a goodie bag worth $40 for participating in the Singapore Special Dog Show, sponsored by B2K Pet Products and 1 bag of Purina ONE Dog Food sponsored by Purina.
