Hi Huneybees,
Did you read about my tour around Maritime Experiential Museum & Aquarium (MEMA) in the previous blog post? Well, then you will know it's called Ferrari Party as well! Other than getting the chance to tour the museum before it's official launch, we also got to check out the cute Ferrari drivers, Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa.
We were brought to the Historical Harbor after our journey in the Typhoon Theatre. We listened to the loive band, had some finger food and drinks whilst waiting for the Ferrari drivers to arrive.
See how busy the chefs are to make us good food? |
Sushi. |
Peking Duck Bun and a Mushroom Bite (Hope I;m right) in the middle. |
Vietnam's Spring Roll |
Jelly with Fish Roe on top |
Don't you love how they decorated the serving tray? |
We headed over to the stage when the clock drew near to 9pm. Yes guys! I did snap pictures of the Race Queens....
Finally we got a couple shot with the Ferrari car. Thanks to the helpful staff who offered to help. |
Then, the drivers arrived. Big big big entourage with super lots of bodyguards wrapped around them, creating the "Great Wall of Singapore".
|
The drivers autographed on the helmets for RWS keeps. |
A pic with Michael Chin, Executive Vice-President of Projects and General Management, RWS, before they proceed to the VIP area for the media to interview. |
A little something from the press kit that I received.
Fernando Alonso

I was totally blocked by the media and bodyguards, so hubby helped me with the photo taking. |
Answering questions was like a breeze for the drivers.... |
Then, they went to take pictures with the Ferrari car and left. It's like so dang fast, just 15 mins and it's over?! I wished they lingered longer, coz I remembered an autograph session, not sure why it was taken away..... :(
Even though the drivers have left, the party had just started. We went back down to the Deep Blue Disco for some great music and more drinks.
DJ looked so young! |
Check out the RWS blog for more details on MEMA. Do make a trip down this historical journey...
