Hi Huneybees,
It's August and it always feels like party mode when it's nearing the end of the year. If you fancy a little chillax time after work, let your hair down at the stylish and unique Artemis Bar against the 360 Singapore skyline view!
The bar is centered by a 100-year-old Spanish Olive Tree and cocktail lovers can enjoy their drinks amidst 15,000 square feet of lush Sky Forest.
There's now 18 progressive cocktails that are created with exceptional spirits, homemade syrups, fresh ingredients and the best bartending skills. You can pair them with Mediterranean-inspired bar food that's made using organic and fresh produce that’s sourced from suppliers who share the restaurant’s commitment to sustainability.
Sour Bell is a refreshing cocktail mix of Death’s Door Gin, Bergamot and Sparkling Wine. I love the touch of citric aftertaste that blends out the slight bitterness of gin. It will have you dreaming of la dolce vita with the bergamot’s intense citric Italian flavours.

“I’m excited to be part of Artemis and lead a team that shares my passion. It’s going to be great fun for us as well as our customers who drop in to experience great service, food and a tipple or two.” --- Rico Deang
At the launch event, we were introduced to 3 of Rico's creations - Beautiful Sour, Eastern Promise and Lota Bell.
Eastern Promise is more fruity with the mix of Sherry and Peaty Whiskies, Rosemary, Becherovka, and Lemon. Freshly burnt rosemary is gently muddled with a combination of Scottish whiskies, making this Grecian inspired cocktail a treat for the senses.
But my favourite has still got the be Lota Bell. Getting its name from Passion Fruit (lota bel), this concoction of Passion Fruit Tea infused Vodka, Demerara & Lime stimulates the taste buds with the sweet taste of passion fruit and the kick of alcohol only comes when you finish the drink...
