This year’s Variations offering once more demonstrates Nespresso’s coffee expertise and innovation – the reason behind each collection’s popular following. For the 2012 edition of Variations, Nespresso’s Coffee Experts investigated a new approach, working with just one “family” to provide three unique coffee experiences.

Subtly blending the much loved smoothness of permanent Grand Cru Livanto – the Grand Cru possessing the optimum profile for complementing different flavours – the Experts added the highly individual notes
and natural aromas of the three gourmet nuts. Each of the Variations 2012 has an intensity level of six on a scale of one-to–ten and with their delicious aromas are the perfect accompaniment for toasting the season.

Hazelnut - The combination of lightly roasted hazelnut notes with the Livanto Grand Cru reveals praline flavours, giving it a fine balance in the mouth.
Macadamia Nut - The rich savours of the macadamia nut combined with the roundness of the Livanto Grand Cru develop a surprising freshness and reveal citrus notes
Coconut - A perfect harmony between the coconut notes and the Livanto Grand Cru creates a gourmand experience reminiscent of coconut macaroons.

The Variations 2012 are best served alone as a 40ml espresso, allowing coffee lovers to indulge in each different note, but can also be enjoyed as milk recipes. Hazelnut provides a delicious latte macchiato revealing hazelnut praline flavours and soft notes of caramel and roasted nuts. Prepared with Coconut, the perfect harmony between coconut notes and milk results in a Latte Macchiato with a soft and smooth texture.

Cappuccino drinkers can also enjoy their favourite coffee and milk recipe prepared with Macadamia Nut. The rich notes of macadamia nut merge into the smooth milk froth for a delicate Cappuccino with lightly roasted notes.

Each of the Variations 2012 are 100% of natural origin and contain only roast and ground coffees mixed with natural flavourings and is free from food allergens.
