The 2023 Hot Wheels^® Challenge Accepted Championship invites fearless children aged 5 to 12 to compete in local qualifying rounds held in stores. Three exhilarating challenges: Launch & Bash, Leaning Tower of Hot Wheels, and Hit The Mark! Brace yourself for a high-octane spectacle as Mattel, Inc (NASDAQ: MAT) brings back the most highly anticipated event of the year - the Hot Wheels^® Challenge Accepted Southeast Asia Championship 2023.

 

Celebrating over a decade of heart-pounding excitement, Hot Wheels^® continues to ignite the spirit of challengers with its innovative cars and track systems. This thrilling championship aims to inspire and cultivate the creative energies of young boys and girls while fuelling their passion for competition through various challenges. This year, get ready to buckle up for a journey more exciting than ever before - with the qualifying rounds and the National Finals taking place in-store, leading up to the electrifying Hot Wheels Challenge Accepted Southeast Asia Finale in Bangkok, Thailand.

In Launch & Bash, your child can showcase their competitive spirit; every move counts as they drive up the tower of cars and strategically aim to hit the target within three attempts. The Leaning Tower of Hot Wheels^® is all about stacking Hot Wheels die-cast cars as high as possible within a thrilling two-minute timeframe - the taller the tower, the higher the score! Finally, in Hit The Mark!, challengers compete to achieve the most excellent score, experimenting with different angles to outperform their rivals.

The in-store qualifying rounds flagged off on 9 and 10 September 2023, where children unleashed their skills and creativity in the three categories. After the electrifying qualifiers, the Top 10 highest-scoring champions for each age category (Category A: 5 to 8 years old; Category B: 9 to 12 years old) will be honored at the National Finale in Singapore.

 

Racing Towards Glory

Happening on 22 October 2023, these finalists will battle it out at the National Finale.  The Top 5 scoring individuals from each age category will then represent Singapore to compete against fellow Hot Wheels enthusiasts across Southeast Asia at the Hot Wheels Challenge Accepted SEA Finale, set to unfold on 25 November 2023. A journey of competition, creativity, and dreams come true; these young racers stand a chance to seize the championship title. An attractive total prize package of USD$1,000, Hot Wheels^® products valued at USD$1,000, and a trophy for the top three winners from each category are up for grabs. The ultimate showdown you would not want to miss!
 

 

Gear Up for Hot Deals

The excitement doesn't stop there! Members of the public are also invited to join in on the action by trying their hands at these exciting challenges. Between 12 noon to 8pm every weekend, come to participating stores to experience the thrill first-hand.
