The brand new Samsung GALAXY Note 5 4G+ hits our local telecommunication operators, major consumer electronics stores, authorised retailers and Samsung Experience Stores tomorrow. I have already had a first hand experience on the Samsung GALAXY Note 5 4G+ last night and I think it's worth the queuing if you are a Note fan like me. =)

For the multi taskers and the multimedia consumers, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 4G+  is here to help ease your stress with faster working systems, better aesthetics as well as improved productivity tools.

Let's begin by looking at the beauty of the device's aesthetics first.

With improved premium metal and glass, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is stronger, yet thinner and lighter than before weighing at 171g, the phone is light on the hand and fits nicely into any pocket, fitting just nice even if you wear skinny jeans!

Also, drawing inspiration from the design legacy of the Galaxy S6 4G+, it also ergonomically fits in one hand with a narrower bezel and the curved back allows better grip of the phone. And speaking of the paradox of size, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 boasts of a smaller device size, yet bigger and better display of deeper screen contrast, true to life colours and in-depth details, with a 5.7-inch Quad HD SUPER AMOLED display, at 153.2 x 76.1 x 7.6mm.

Underneath the shell, comes powerful core featuring cutting-edge technology, powered by 14nm processor with 64-bit platform and 4GB RAM, allowing you to have powerful and smooth multitasking experience.

It also supports 4G+ LTE Category 9 capability where you can can browse, download and connect to the internet at a much faster download speed of up to 450Mbps.

Instead of having to use your nails to "pick out" the S Pen, now it is easily called out by a simple push to eject the S Pen. The pen is improved for better balance and fun part is the clicker on the top as though a ballpoint pen, I really can't stop clicking. But of course other than that, the new S Pen is more sensitive with improved writing capabilities and detection for faster and more intuitive access to its features.

With the removal of the S Pen, the Enhanced Air Command is also triggered, where you can access

Action Memo (Screen Off Memo), Smart Select and Screen Write together with three other favourite app shortcuts. 

• Screen Off Memo - Jot down quick memos even when the screen is off!, taking down special coffee orders for the coffee run is now fast and easy
• Smart Select  -  Image clipping is made easier by saving the URL with a photo cropped from the website into the Scrapbook app, this is especially useful when comparing deals across e-shopping sites
• Screen Write - Scroll Capture up to 22 webpages and annotate on it, making the sharing of long online news articles a breeze

At the special LIVESTREAM media get together last night, we also got to preview a special keyboard cover for the device. Yes, a little old school, but our keyboard is back! No more virtual ones now! The launch date and pricing is currently still TBC, I will update once i have more information.

As mentioned above, the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 4G+ will be available from 15 August in Black Sapphire and Gold Platinum, with 32GB and 64GB storage options. Their recommended retail prices are - Galaxy Note 5 4G+ (32GB) at $1,088 and  Galaxy Note 5 4G+ (64GB) at $1,188.
