The eighth edition of the Singapore Night Festival is back this August and its theme for this year is "Glitz and Glamour" with a stellar gathering of 40 Singaporean and 13 foreigner artists and performers coming together to light up our city! It's an all new experience, lighting up Singapore late into the night, mixing arts with great food.
Among the World Class performances lined up for visitors in the Bras Basah Bugis Precint, three of them were specially commissioned for this year and they are - Fire and light performance by Starlight Alchemy at Singapore Art Museum, Dance and music theatrical performance by Theater Tol along Armenian Street, and Light art installation on the facade of National Museum of Singapore by French graphic designers David Passegand & Metu Batlle titled "Anooki Celebrate Singapore."
Similar to last year, Singapore Night Festival programmes and installations are staged across 5 Festival Zones - National Museum and Fort Canning (Zone 1), Armenian Street (Zone 2), House of Glamour (Zone 3), Festival Village at SMU (Zone 4), and beyond Bras Brsah Road Area such as Singapore Art Museum, Queen Street, National Design Centre, DECK, Waterloo Street & School of the Arts (Zone5).
Apart from certain performances at House of Glamour (Zone 3), which is situated on the Cathay Green (opposite The Cathay), all admission to Singapore Night Festival programmes and installations are free.

Also note that due to the performances at Zone 2, Armenian Street and its carpark lots will be closed from 7:30pm to 2am on 20 - 22 August and 27 - 29 August. There will also be road closure of Cheng Yan Place on 29 August, do note that there might be traffic delays i the whole Night Festival grounds.
Singapore Night Festival 2015 will be held on two following Fridays and Saturdays - 21 and 22 August and 28 and 29 August - from 7pm to 2am. For more information, visit www.nightfest.sg.
