Crowning Of The Winners Of Jurong Point's Model Search

The winners to the Model Search organised by Jurong Point, emerged victorious at the grand finals of Model Search, organised by Jurong Point (in partnership with Carrie Models International), has finally been revealed at the grand finals. It was a long duel for one month and the three contestants from twenty-four finalists.

The winners are Zacheos Sabai, aged 17 (Male Category), Nicolle Lim, aged 17 (Female Category) and Sunishka Sriram, aged 6 (Kids Category). They are gona be the next modelling sensation and they will be provided with opportunities for them to break out into the industry.

It was a huge turnout that day, with shoppers crowding around as they witness the crowning of the winners. The event was hosted by Maddy Barber of Kiss 92FM and Tan Yan Wei of UFM 100.3 and on the judging panel is former Singapore Supermodel - Pat Kraal, Producer/ Artiste - Edmund Chen Zhi Cai, Founder and CEO of Asia Fashion Inc - Timothy Chen, Marketing Executive of Laneige (Official Makeup Sponsor) - Melissa Loo, and Senior Manager, Marketing Communications, Jurong Point - Lynette Lee.

The show kicked off with the the adorable kid models from the kids category with eight finalists strutting down the runway decked out in fun and vibrant colours from clothing sponsor, Camouflage. They made everyone tickled pink with the sheer innocence.

The Male and Female finalists then dazzled us with their amazing figures and walked down the runway showcasing the Spring/Summer 2014 collection from the official apparel sponsor, Denizen. 

 

After a Q & A session, they then took to the runway again, in their first multi-label show which showcased collections from the array of fashion brands found at Jurong Point.

The winners were chosen based on a ratio of 80% from the judges and 20% of public voting via Jurong Point's Facebook conducted before the finals. A big congratulations to the winners. I can't wait to see them walk in fashion shows soon!
