Hi Huneybees,
Local sneaker retailer Limited Edt's partnership with local clothing label Hypethetic in collaboration with Reebok, has resulted in the creation of Limited Edt X Hypethetic X Reebok Instapump Fury 20th Anniversary sneaker. This is in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Reebok's Pump Fury series and both Limited Edt and Hypethetic were the only local labels selected for this collaboration!
This is the tenth of the 27 unique designs that Reebok will be releasing from partnerships with acclaimed designers from all over the world this year. Joe Cher aka Twistedjoe, founder of Hypetheric was appointed to design this pair of sneakers.
Also on display at launch party at F Club, Clarke Quay, were 4 other designs of Reebok's Pump Fury series, one of which was never available for sale!
Reebok X Chanel (1997)
These pumps were never available for sale as the shoe only hit sample and promo runs. However, the stark design of the shoes, with its silver and white colourway, textured grey base and iconic double-C logo on the heels was still highly sought after and many are looking for the revival of this pump.
The Limited Edt X Hypethetic X Reebok Instapump Fury 20th Anniversary comes in US sizes 4 to 12 and will be sold exclusively at all Limited Edt stores islandwide from 15th March 2014 at SGD$249.00 nett.
The release of the next 20th anniversary design will be announced in April and for more information, please refer to www.reebok.com and www.limitededt.com

What's special about the Reebok Instapump Fury is:
- The Pump: More than just a symbol for the Pump Fury identity, it serves a distinct functional purpose,a unique technology developed by Reebok. By squeezing this, the air cushions around the heel, ankle and foot provide a customized fit and proper support for the runner. This prevents heel slippage and allows for extra shock absorption, stability and reduced leg fatigue. The little control valve on the right of this ball releases air for an adjustable fit.
- Internal Pump Bladder: Made from intravenous blood bags usually found in the medical industry, these inflatable chambers keep the air stable at any inflate/deflate level. It's also what gives the Fury its radically distinctive upper design and gives designers another dimension to creating trademark colourways.
- Hexalite: This honeycomb padding (also used in space shuttle seats) is one of the first foot protection system that successfully incorporates lightweight technology with superior cushioning to protect a runner's body from severe shocks during a run.
- GraphLite Bridge: Combining graphite technology with a radically designed underfoot arch bridge, this feature offers lightweight support for the serious runner, as it retains its shape under stress while dramatically reducing the weight of the sole (by 20%)!
The concepts draws from the ocean's lethal Devil Ray for the pump's mottled black and grey upper. With silver Reebok, Limited Edt and Hypethetic logo, 2 metallic silver stars representing the Fury's 20-year legacy, a metallic chrome accent on the heel and a blue inner lining with Hypethetic signature colours and style elements that are likened to the design of Limited Edt's "Vault" and "Chamber" boutique stores.
Each pair of Limited Edt X Hypethetic X Reebok Instapump Fury 20th Anniversary sneaker comes with an individually numbered holographic box designed by art house WHALERABBIT. Each box is specially fabricated from polished translucent black acrylic, accented with a hexagonal holographic glow and a magnetic lock with nickel-plated logos to boot.

Reebok Fury OG "Hong Kong Handover" (1997)
Sporting a red. black, gold and white colourway representing the Chinese and Hong Kong flag colours, these shoes are a tribute to Hong Kong's transfer of sovereignty, from a British colony to be part of China once again. It has a red mesh upper with black and gold overlaying panels with a contrasting white midsole.
Reebok X Packer Shoes (2014)
Packer Shoes (New Jersey) worked with legendary graffiti artist Stash ( a veteran in Reebok collaborative projects) for this pump design. Along with the artist's signature palette of tonal blues, the sneaker features a suede and synthetic upper in contrasting shades of blue. A navy blue base at the midsole is accented by light blue speckles and a royal blue Hexalite insert.
Reebok X Frank The Butcher (2014)
Fashion connoisseur Frank The Butcher and his brand Business As Usual (BASU) decked the upper out with a custom black woven splatter design covering the lace-area, collar and tongue. Available in oink and beige colourways, the shoe comes branded with "BAU" in the heels and their signature "All If Fair" slogan on the toe.
