Alien Huang also performed his songs, but the highlight would have to be the signature Magic Power's songs "神射手". In their attempt to collect the most number of celebrities doing their infamous dance, they managed to invite everyone's Empress - Karen Mok on stage to do the dance too! She was so sporty and immediately got on stage to join in the fun. The dance never looked so sexy before!
Thanks to F&N, hubby and I got to go watch Singapore Hit Awards 2013 (新加坡金曲奖 2013) LIVE at the spanking new Suntec City Convention Hall. It was a star studded night and if you have been following my Instagram, you know I literally went mad that night seeing my favourite stars. CAPTAIN COOL!!!! >o<!!!!
Running for the 18th year, stars from Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and Hong Kong graced the award ceremony. Hong Kong superstar Karen Mok 莫文蔚, Taiwanese singers Alien Huang 黃鴻升 and Wilber Pan 潘瑋柏 had the biggest haul - they took home three gongs each.
Wilber Pan had the fans all screaming their lungs out as he did his opening performance of his popular song "24个比利" and "释放自己". Who can resist this Asian Justin Bieber with his smirk and dimples?!
The DJs of Yes 9.33FM were stylishly dressed that night and we were treated to the singers' perfomances alongside the award ceremony. Here's the list of winners...

That night we were also treated to some amazing vocal works by local singers like 插班生 bringing us back to the 80s, where to songs were heard and sung by everyone. Songstress Zhou Hui also sang 3 of her popular songs and it got the audience singing along.

A wonderful fun-filled pack night ended with Karen Mok on a Gu Zhen as she performed "WHILE MY GUITAR GENTLY WEEPS", Julian Cheung with his rendition of Eason Chan's song for "Triumph In The Skies" as well as the legendary Grasshoppers singing their ever so popular dance tracks.
It's a pity my camera battery went out and I missed taking photos on that, but well, I had hubby's iPad, so I'm gona extract the soundtrack for you. Will be updating that soon....
