Oktoberfest came early at Crowne Plaza Hotel (Changi Airport)! Come feast on amazing German dishes whilst gulping down those lagers of yours at Azur Restaurant. In the mood of celebration, the East meets West buffet restaurant has prepared an array of dishes that I bet you can only have in Germany.
My favourite has got to be the crispy and crunchy Smoked Pork Knuckle, paired with the slight sour-ish juniper scented Sauerkaut, mustard and roasting Gravy, I'm almost about to bring the chef home! Actually as I'm writing, I'm thinking of the knuckle again...
Some other dishes also include the Bavarian Kaese Spaetzle with Emmental Cheese, Chouroute en Garnie with Mustard and Gravy and Goulaschsuppe with Herb Sour Cream & Garlic Croutons.
Something else that I liked was the Eggs Cocotte with Bacon Slab and Chives. It's a little like the Japanese chawanmushi, I had like 3 of it that day. OMG! How my cholesterol level raise!
Don't forget to end you meal with the fresh seafood - Freshly Shucked House Oysters, Boiled Crayfish and Steamed Black Mussels!
